With the Xbox One being released the new iteration of the Dead Rising series followed. Dead Rising 3 is supposed to be taking the franchise in a new direction.
In this game they go in a more gritty and realistic direction. The previous games were more goofy and the realism was kept at a minimum. Even though it is supposed to be set in the same world it seems like the main character in this new game has nothing to do with the previous characters. This is unlike the second game which had its protagonist Chuck Greene was later tied with the protagonist Frank West of the first game.
They still kept the customization of weapons that were introduced in the second game. This is something that I was happy to see as it made the game more interesting.
Something new they have done with the game is making the area you explore in the game bigger than any of the other games combined. This means that there will be more zombies than ever. With this many zombies being present the danger rises.
I am excited to play this new iteration as I have always been a fan of the series. I will be sure to check it out. I will be sure to tell you guys about it.

Walking Dead video game Season 2 trailer
The trailer for the second season of the Walking Dead game has been released. The trailer shows many of the locations that were visited in the first season of the game. While these locations are being shown a conversation can be heard from the first season between the protagonist Lee and his companion Clementine. Unfortunately, there are no images or characters from the second season.
The main character for this new season will be the little girl Clementine. During the first season she was part of Lee's group of survivors and was something of an adopted daughter to him. Due to the events of the last season, she is now on her own and will have to make her own decisions on how to survive.
This seems to be something new that the developers TellTale are doing with their games. In the past they have done a series of episodic releases of games based on popular movies or television shows. This is the first time that they are doing more than one series with each being connected to each other. This is being done with the saved game from the first season carrying on into the second.

Dead-Island Live Action Trailer
Director B.J. McDonnell made a live action version of the Dead-Island Trailer.
Do many of you remember the trailer for Dead Island? It was a pretty memorable trailer that did really well in promoting the game. Whether or not the game was like what the trailer showed is beside the point. I do remember that they did have some controversy over having a child zombie in the trailer. Many if not all did not like the fact that a child was killed for entertainment. Though they did not have any child zombies in the game. It was a very dramatic trailer and it is one of the trailers that is in many peoples top ten lists.
Sorry about not having a Walking Dead episode review. I was not able to watch the episode due to some difficulties I was having. I will be able to catch next episode though.

Interactive Prequel for Medieval Zombie game
Game developers Techland have released an interactive prequel for their new game Hellraid. This prequel is a set of interactive videos where you make choices to keep your character alive. In the prequel you play as a monk named Edyn, who you must guide to escape the creature and trap infested monastery
Hellraid is a first person medieval action-role playing game. In the game you and your friends will face off against armies from the underworld. For those of you who have enjoyed Techland's other game Dead Island should find this game enjoyable. It seems to borrow a good bit from that game but has some differences to it. One major difference between Dead Island and Hellraid is the inclusion of magic. There is no release date for the game, but it will be available on PC, Xbox 360, and PS3
So what do you guys think about this game so far? Did many of you like Dead Island?
