Parody Video of Congressional Zombie Bill

This is video from a while ago in which a actor playing John Haller, who is supposed to be the Republican representative for Philadelphia, talking about the Homeland Terrorism Preparedness Bill.
During discussing this bill there were a few things that Haller said was classified.  One of these things was something dealing with "flesh eating" and then he said classified.  This was when you could tell what exactly he was talking about. He then immediately said something about spewing and escape which just makes this more confusing.  It is a funny video to watch and when I first saw it I thought that it was real.  What do you guys think of it?

Zombies invade Mythbusters

Last night's episode of Mythbusters was pretty interesting.  Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman, the shows hosts, wanted to see if three myths they selected from zombie lore were true or not.  The first one was whether an axe or a shotgun can kill more zombies.  The second one was whether you can outrun zombies.  The last one was whether a horde of zombies can push through a barricade.  To help them with this they brought on Michael Rooker who plays Merle Dixon on the Walking Dead.

Testing the first myth was the most fun to watch.  They had acquired about a thousand extras to dress up like zombies and come at them like a horde.  Adam had a foam axe with dye in it so he knew which zombies he had killed.  He looked like he was having fun trying to hit all of those zombies.  The most interesting thing to watch was Jamie with his paintball shotgun.  They had made masks for the zombies to wear so they could shoot them in the face.  It looked a lot like those zombie shoots I see all the time.  I don't want to say who won but it was kind of obvious before they even began testing.

The second myth was not as exciting.  They just had Tori, Kari, and Grant, who are the other people on the show who help test the myths, running past the zombies.  The only thing interesting during that was when they had to come up with ideas to distract the zombies.

The third myth was fun to watch mainly because Michael Rooker was getting back into being Merle.  Throughout the whole show he acted normal but when he stood behind that barricade he just changed.  He even flipped the bird at the zombies through the barricade which was pretty funny.

How would you survive a Zombie Horde?

While watching this new episode of the Walking Dead it got me wondering as to how I would survive in that kind of world?  People that I have talked to all tell me their plans for what they would do.  Some say they would hold out in their houses while others say they would take off to the wilderness.  Movies as well as television have tried to tackle the subject but it would be impossible to predict unless it happened.  I am not saying that something like this could actually happen.  If something like this did then I would be generally surprised.

Have many of you ever thought what you would do if placed inside a situation like the Walking Dead?  Where would you go? Who would you include in your group?  Who would be in charge of your group?

Zombie Train

You guys ever gone on a zombie shoot?  It is usually when you are supplied with paintball guns or lazer tag guns and shoot people dressed up as zombies.  It seems like it would be a fun experience.

The company Zombie Train says that they give a unique experience where you fire on zombies while moving on a train.  You are given a lazer tag gun and you shoot out a window of the train car.

The train ride lasts for two hours.  The event will last from now till Nov. 1st.

This looks like it is a cool variant of a zombie shoot.  If you are in the area you should think about giving it a shot.

Interactive Prequel for Medieval Zombie game

Game developers Techland have released an interactive prequel for their new game Hellraid.  This prequel is a set of interactive videos where you make choices to keep your character alive. In the prequel you play as a monk named Edyn, who you must guide to escape the creature and trap infested monastery

Hellraid is a first person medieval action-role playing game.  In the game you and your friends will face off against armies from the underworld.  For those of you who have enjoyed Techland's other game Dead Island should find this game enjoyable. It seems to borrow a good bit from that game but has some differences to it. One major difference between Dead Island and Hellraid is the inclusion of magic.  There is no release date for the game, but it will be available on PC, Xbox 360, and PS3

So what do you guys think about this game so far?  Did many of you like Dead Island?
