Governor's new group
It was pretty surprising to see Martinez accept the Governor and his new "family" into their group. It was even more surprising to not see Martinez tell Lily, Tara, and Meghan about the Governor's past. It seemed like he had plenty of opportunities but never really pounced on it.
It was weird seeing the Governor take orders and become part of a group. It's usually him giving the orders and letting other people do the dirty work. I guess that he has changed somewhat in this regard but not too much.
The Governor is back
I thought for the longest time that the Governor had changed or was trying to be somewhat of a hero. That all went out the window when he killed Martinez. It was then that he assumed his old role. He even started a new collection of walkers in the lake.
It will be interesting to see what his "family" thinks of some of his actions if they ever find out. I do think that if that happens then he will try to take the girl and run. That is my prediction if this ever comes to pass.
With him in control though he has turned his sights back on the prison. It wouldn't take much to guess who he is going after when he gets there. I don't see how the prison will be able to stand with them just getting over that sickness. The Governor's group has a tank for crying out loud. It will be interesting to see who survives in the mid-season finale.

Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 6 review
This episode was one that I and many others were waiting for. This episode was a Governor focused episode which is something that was not seen a lot. As always there are going to be spoilers in this so be warned.
Aftermath of Season 3
The episode began with the aftermath of the Governor killing off the citizens of Woodbury. This event seemed to have broken him along with many other things. When he was sitting at the fire watching the walker come towards him was a means for escape from what he had done. If the walker had not been stopped it would have killed him and in his mind set him free. The next morning he is abandoned and left on his own. He becomes a shell of himself and in many respects starts to take on the characteristics of the walkers. He shambles through areas and down roads with a dead look in his eyes. When all seemed lost he was delivered salvation in the form of a little girl.
Governor's new group
I was kind of hesitant to watch the Governor join his new little group. I thought many times that there was going to be a betrayal and he would kill them. But over time nothing happened and it seemed like he had maybe gone good or somewhat good. He kept helping the family do whatever they needed him to do. The old Governor would have not done that in fact he would have killed them on sight. I think what anchors him to the group is the little girl. He feels some responsibility for protecting her to make up for failing his daughter. It then looked that he may take the girl and kill the others but that did not happen as well. Every time he had a chance to betray he did nothing. He now has a love interest which is surprising. None of his past affairs have worked out well so it will be interesting to see where this goes. It will be even more interesting to see how he handles himself now that he ran back into some of the people from Woodbury.

Walking Dead Season 4 episode 5 review
This episode was pretty crazy but the ending kind of threw me off guard. Overall it was a great episode with a good number of high points.
Sickness is spreading
Those that were quarantined seemed to be getting worse and worse by the second. It was sad though that they were killing off. I kind of wanted to get to know some more of the people from Woodbury.
This episode was definitely Hershel's moment to shine. Throughout the whole episode you never really saw him lose that much of his faith. I particularly liked the fight near the end with the walker which showed that Hershel still had some spunk in him. It also seemed like he was now able to kill walkers without that much hesitation. We had never really seen him kill that many since season two. It seemed like Hershel grew a lot in this episode which is a good thing because we need him to grow.
I seriously thought for a couple of minutes that they were going to kill Glenn off. This show has a nasty habit of bumping characters off without a moments notice. He is not out of the woods yet though as he is still bed ridden.
Rick and Carl
This episode developed the father and son relationship a bit more. Rick seems more okay with including Carl in group activities now that he has seen Carl can handle himself. He had also found out that Carl could watch his back when need be. It will be interesting to see where this will go in future episodes. Maybe Rick will let Carl go on runs outside the prison?
Governor returns
Just as the episode was ending we caught sight of the Governor beyond the prison walls. This was something that did not seem like it was going to happen until later on in the season. For a while I was starting to wonder if we would ever see him at all. Now that the prison is weak because of the sickness it would be a great opportunity for him to strike. We will have to see what plans he will come up with in future episodes.

Walking Dead video game Season 2 trailer
The trailer for the second season of the Walking Dead game has been released. The trailer shows many of the locations that were visited in the first season of the game. While these locations are being shown a conversation can be heard from the first season between the protagonist Lee and his companion Clementine. Unfortunately, there are no images or characters from the second season.
The main character for this new season will be the little girl Clementine. During the first season she was part of Lee's group of survivors and was something of an adopted daughter to him. Due to the events of the last season, she is now on her own and will have to make her own decisions on how to survive.
This seems to be something new that the developers TellTale are doing with their games. In the past they have done a series of episodic releases of games based on popular movies or television shows. This is the first time that they are doing more than one series with each being connected to each other. This is being done with the saved game from the first season carrying on into the second.

Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 3 review
This episode was not as sad as the last one, but it had a good amount of action this time around. We get some things answered in this episode and some new questions raised as well.
Hunt for Murderer
Leaving off from the last episode the group began to search for who was responsible for setting two members of the group on fire. Tyreese was pretty confrontational at the beginning of the episode. I can empathize with him because he had just lost someone he loved. This seemed to mirror what Rick went through with losing Laurie. It seemed that Rick was trying to use his previous experience with loss by trying to talk Tyreese down. It was surprising that both of them came to blows with each other. This ended with Rick repeatedly hitting Tyreese in the face. I had almost thought that Rick had gone crazy again with him getting that look in his eyes. It seems that they are all feeling the strain.
Sickness Spreading
It looked like everyone is starting to get sick. Sasha has gotten sick as well as Glenn. The last one surprised me because he is a important character and they are putting him in a precarious position. I can only hope that they do not kill him off as his relationship with Maggie is getting interesting. It will be surprising to see who gets sick next. It looks like Hershel may be next because he has had more contact with the infected people. If he does then I do not think he would survive at his age and condition.
Carl and Hershel go for a walk
It was interesting seeing the interaction between Carl and Hershel. It seemed like Hershel was trying to become something of an adviser to Carl. When they come into contact with the walkers in the woods Hershel told Carl not to shoot them. This surprised me because they are all like shoot first ask questions later. It seemed to me like he was trying to teach Carl that he doesn't have to be violent all the time. This just seemed like a lesson that will be hard to apply in their world.
Voice on Radio
The best part of the episode was at the end where they hear the voice on the radio. I kind of wonder who the person is? I have heard some think that it is the Governor but it just does not seem like his style. He would not try and send out a message to get people to come to him. He was more likely to kill people rather than bring them to Woodbury. I think that it is someone we have yet to meet. I guess we will have to wait until the next episode to find out.

Poll Results for Governor's return
It seems a majority of you think that the Governor will return to the show sometime this season. I have been hoping we will see a showdown between him and Rick or Michone.
Maybe we will see him attack the prison when they are at their weakest. This does go with his character in that he does like to hide in the shadows and strike. They have lost a good amount of people so this would be a prime opportunity.

Walking Dead Season 4 episode 2 review
This episode was a pretty sad one compared to the previous episode. Besides that though it was a pretty good episode. Let's get into some of the more interesting things in this episode. As I have said before there will be spoilers.
Feeding the Zombies
We still do not know who is feeding the zombies the rats. At first I thought it was the little girl Lizzy but now I am not so sure. It was pointed out after the show that the flashlight was held up higher then the little girl could be able to do. I was hoping we would get an answer when Sasha saw the rats piled up near the fence. We never got an answer because of the problems with the fence but I feel that at some point we will get an answer.
Cell Block Attack
I felt sorry for that guy that gets killed by Patrick because that was the worst way to go. I just wondered how nobody heard two walkers stumbling about in the cell block. Another question that I have is how did so many people turn so fast? I thought it took a good while for someone to turn and yet how did so many do that in that amount of time? This all goes back to how nobody heard a thing. They could not all have been deep sleepers.
Rick's Reluctance
A major part of this episode was Rick's reluctance to taking back the leadership role. He seems to want to be in the background helping instead of out front. You could see this when Daryl asks him what they should do about the walkers trying to get through the fence. Rick seemed to not want to give him a answer and seemed to want someone else to do his job. I think that he just wanted to start living a more normal life where he is not always making life or death decisions. He wanted to be with his son and live a calmer existence. This unfortunately could not happen given the world they live in so he stepped back into his role. I especially liked him putting his gun belt back on. I will be curious to see if this issue pops up again somewhere down the line in this season.
Sickness Descends on the Group
We find out that what killed Patrick was not some new strain of the zombie virus but some kind of sickness like pneumonia. This will be interesting to see because with this disease you have no idea who has it. Anyone could die suddenly and become a walker. It looked like some people in the group were already starting to become paranoid of this fact. This paranoia is probably what lead to the death of Tyreese's girlfriend Karen getting cremated. They have not said who has done it but I think it was Tyreese's sister Sasha because in the preview we see him confronting her about something.
Michonne's breakdown
I kind of want to know more about Michonne's background due to her reaction to the baby. It was just so odd the way she acted when she held the baby. It makes me wonder if something has happened to her in the past. Hopefully we may get some idea as to what has happened to her in the past.

Zombies invade Mythbusters
Last night's episode of Mythbusters was pretty interesting. Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman, the shows hosts, wanted to see if three myths they selected from zombie lore were true or not. The first one was whether an axe or a shotgun can kill more zombies. The second one was whether you can outrun zombies. The last one was whether a horde of zombies can push through a barricade. To help them with this they brought on Michael Rooker who plays Merle Dixon on the Walking Dead.
Testing the first myth was the most fun to watch. They had acquired about a thousand extras to dress up like zombies and come at them like a horde. Adam had a foam axe with dye in it so he knew which zombies he had killed. He looked like he was having fun trying to hit all of those zombies. The most interesting thing to watch was Jamie with his paintball shotgun. They had made masks for the zombies to wear so they could shoot them in the face. It looked a lot like those zombie shoots I see all the time. I don't want to say who won but it was kind of obvious before they even began testing.
The second myth was not as exciting. They just had Tori, Kari, and Grant, who are the other people on the show who help test the myths, running past the zombies. The only thing interesting during that was when they had to come up with ideas to distract the zombies.
The third myth was fun to watch mainly because Michael Rooker was getting back into being Merle. Throughout the whole show he acted normal but when he stood behind that barricade he just changed. He even flipped the bird at the zombies through the barricade which was pretty funny.

Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 1 review
This new season of the Walking Dead has started out pretty
well. There were some surprises as well as some signs of things to come. If you have not seen the first episode yet then I suggest that you stop now and go watch it as I will be giving spoilers.
Prison is Getting Organized
At the end of the last season Rick and the group had acquired the survivors of Woodbury. It appears that during the time between seasons they have made themselves a community. Some of the characters in the episode mention a Council ,which we never see in action, who deliberate what has to be done. Apparently this Council is made up of the members of Rick's original group. The organization does not just stop at a semi government in that they also have built onto the prison. In the episode you could see several buildings they had built in the field in front of the prison. They even built a stable and a pig pen. You also see Rick attempting to farm the growing garden they had started. This is where he finds a gun buried in the ground which made no sense to me but maybe we will find out why it was there.
Relationships Changing
During the episode there were some relationships that had either formed off screen or there were hints at something that may form. Beth apparently had gained her new boyfriend Zack off screen at some point. That kind of threw me off guard because I did not picture her getting into a relationship. Glenn and Maggie's showed signs of changing in the episode. Maggie apparently was thought to be pregnant, which you later find out is false, much to Glenn's happiness. It seems like he did not want a child to be born in the zombie apocalypse which is similar to Lori's predicament. Later in the episode Maggie tells Glenn that she is "not afraid of living" which leads me to think she will try to have a child at some point. There was also a glimmer of a relationship forming between Rick and Michonne. The way that Rick seemed concerned about her leaving the prison and her being more friendly with Carl makes me think something will develop.
Raining Zombies
During an outing to a big box store the group of Daryl, Michonne, Zack, Sasha, Tyreese, and new guy Bob try to find necessary supplies for the ever expanding group back at the prison. During the event Bob, who we find out was a medic before all of this, picks up a wine bottle off the shelf. During this it seemed like he was going to take it with him but he sets it back down. This act leads you to believe that he truly does want to earn the trust of the group. When he sets it back down everything just goes chaotic. Zombies are falling through the ceiling and Zack gets killed. When they get back to the prison and tell Beth of this loss she just kind of shrugs it off. This struck me as a little cold but maybe the kids are dealing with the apocalypse better.
Where is the Governor?

Where is the Governor?
There was no sign of the Governor which kind of disappointed
me. He was such a big threat by the end
of the last season and now he has disappeared. At the end of the last season he killed a lot of his people and just took off. Where did he go? Here is hoping that we see him again at some point this season.
Rick and Clara
When Rick had found Clara stumbling about in the woods it looked like she was a walker. This is where you find out about Rick's three questions. As she leads him into the woods it seemed a little fishy. She never really gave any definite answers. Then she takes him to her camp and you find out she has a head in the bag. It looked like she was doing what the Governor did with keeping zombie heads. She then kills herself because she cannot take what she has done. Rick seemed kind of emotional about it and starts to question what he would be like without his loved ones.
New Strain
The big topic of this episode is the death of Patrick at the end of the episode. He was not bitten yet he still died and turned. You also see earlier on a zombie with blood coming out of its eyes which was similar to Patrick's ailment. Is this something new that can affect the survivors through the air? They will not only have to watch out for walkers but each other as well.

New Walking Dead Webisode
It is getting near that time for the new season of the Walking Dead. Before that happens though AMC has released a new series of webisodes. This new series is titled as "The Oath".
This series revolves around the two survivors Paul and Karina as they make their way through the zombie infested world.
AMC's previous series of webisodes have given back story to particular events that have happened during the show. The Torn Apart series told the story of the cut in half zombie that Rick kills in the first episode.
Have any of you watched the past series?

Spin-Off for The Walking Dead
Yesterday it was announced by AMC that The Walking Dead would get a spin-off in 2015. They went on to say that this side story would have different characters and a different setting than the main show.
This seems to be a trend now for AMC as they have recently created a spin-off for Breaking Bad. With this happening it could mean that AMC might want to go in other directions with this series. This is good news for fans of the main show because once it is over, the spin-offs could keep going on.
Even though there is not much to go on, what are your thoughts on this spin-off? Where do you think it will take place at?
